- This paper consists of section A, B, and C with total of thirteen (13) questions.
- Answer all questions in section A, five questions in section B and two questions in section C.
- Section A caries twenty-five marks (25) section B caries forty-five (45) marks and section C caries thirty (30) marks.
- Question 3 and 6 are compulsory.
- Bibles, all communication devices and other unauthorized materials are not allowed in the examination room.
- Write your Examination numbers in every page of your answer booklet (s).
SECTION A (25 Marks)
Answer all questions in this section
1. For each of the items i – xx choose the most correct answer from among the given alternatives and write its letter beside the items number in the booklet provided.

SECTION B (45 Marks)
Answer five questions from this section. Question three (3) and six (6) are compulsory.
3. After God made man, he caused him to have a deep sleep and removed a rib from his side. With the rib he made a woman and brought her to the man. God perfumed the first marriage between Adam and Eve at that moment. (Genesis 2:24).
- Mention any three (3) roles of a woman to the man.
- What are the steps of unifying a man and a woman according to (Genesis 2:24-25).
- Write down any three (03) concepts of marriage according to the bible.
4. Christianity during the first century (the apostolic church) was growing in the midst of thick darkness in fact it was like a spiritual shining lamp inside the pit of spiritual darkness surrounded by plenty religions in which some claimed to believe in God but others in other gods and strong and influential Philosophical views
- Referring to the entire books of Acts which are those religions and the philosophical views? What was the basic foundation of their faith or philosophy?
- Study carefully the answers you have given in (i) above and make a simple evaluation by starting.

5. According to the book of Luke 15:11-32 we learn about the story of merciful father and his two sons.

6. In Mathew 4:1-11 we read about the temptation of Jesus Christ and the response he gave to Satan which made him overcome all of Satan’s temptations.
- In the third temptation, Satan took Jesus to Jerusalem, setting him on pinnacle of the temple and asked him to throw himself down from it, but Jesus answered, “it is said: you shall not tempt the Lord your God” How do you interpret this answer using your own experience?
- In the second temptation, Satan showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and promised to give him if he would worship him, but Jesus answered: “it is written you shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall serve”. How do Christians today consider earthly riches in their life of serving God?
- In the first temptation, Satan asked Jesus to turn stones into bread, but Jesus answered: “It is written man shall not live by bread alone”. How can Jesus’ answer be used in a situation of temptation today?

9. According to Luke 2:21 Jesus underwent the rite of circumcision. As per requirement of the Abraham covenant, Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day. Likewise in the entire bible we see male children only being circumcised.

13. Marriage is said to be essential in human life using the knowledge from the Bible. Discuss the essentiality of marriage using four points.
